Decoding a JWT without verifying its signature (decode, verify=false, alg: none) lets attackers freely tamper with token contents. Always verify the signature with the expected algorithm.

Incorrect

Fix

Use verify instead of decode; specify allowed algorithms explicitly and never permit none.
