Registering a project and getting a token

A project is a repository registered to your workspace. Each project receives a project-specific token that the analyzer runner uses to authenticate.

  1. Go to Projects → New project.
  2. Select a connected credential (see Connecting a Git provider).
  3. Pick a repository and branch from the list.
  4. Click Create.

When the project is created, AppArch generates a runner token:

apparch_proj_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • The token is scoped to a single workspace + project + module.
  • It is shown in full only once; store it somewhere safe.
  • You can revoke it anytime from the Credential Manager.

The number of projects you can register is bound by your licence. When the limit is reached, new project registration is rejected; if you need a higher limit the AppArch team issues a new licence file (see Licence and limits).

Add the token to your CI pipeline: Adding the runner to CI.
