Select Star (ARCH8066)

Key kotlin.orm.select-star · Severity info · Category orm

Flags SELECT * in query strings - every column travels even when the code reads two. Room @Dao queries are excepted: Room maps the whole entity.

Incorrect

@Query("SELECT * FROM orders", nativeQuery = true)

Correct

@Query("SELECT id, total FROM orders", nativeQuery = true)

Fix

Name the columns, or project into a DTO.
